I know nothing about cyber security, but it’s funny to me that depending on the time of day these comment sections either mostly criticize Telegram or mostly support it. I have no idea what to believe or whether it’s safe for me to use Telegram.

What’s this now?
Wow, this is an unfair take and very judgemental. I can think of a dozen reasons why an adult might have trouble writing a letter aside from being “mentally deficient.” Dyslexia, anxiety, poor education, not being a native speaker, ADHD, etc.
Trust me, I thought the ad was lame and a bleak use case for AI, but you don’t have to crucify a parent for doing their best to help their kid.
No one’s questioning that you saw a Cybertruck, just that you actually said those things to the owner.
From the article:
The pilot program targeted people with simple tax returns based on W-2 forms. In her remarks today Yellen said that over the next few years they will expand Direct File to support more situations.
A friend who worked at Meta said pretty concisely, “You get rewarded for coming up with something new, not improving something old.”
IMO Usenet is worth the cost. It’s a different process than torrenting, with some extra steps, but once you wrap your head around it it’s fairly simple. Depending on the indexer you use, Usenet can be much better organized and easier to find what you’re looking for.
Knives, the cutting implement? Not The Knife, the Swedish electronic band?
A few years back Dana White said he was going to crack down on illegal UFC streams. Then one night at a press conference he announced, “You guys remember the guy I was talking about who was doing the illegal streams? WE GOT HIM. He apologized and promised he’ll never do it again.” These losers are completely out of touch.
That’s a great conversation starter! “Hey, isn’t it interesting that talking about improving our working conditions is so offensive to the boss? Why do you think that is?”
If you’re interested in learning how to form a union at work, you can pick any big union and contact them with questions. It might help if they’re related to your field, but it’s not a requirement. I worked with the Office and Professional Employees International Union (OPEIU) and they were incredibly supportive. Organizing a union at work is the best decision I’ve ever made.
Care to elaborate?
Thank you for the explanation. I felt very out of the loop on this whole thread. I’ll look into pihole.
That MSN article has some numbers that don’t add up.
The news is that the streaming giant is accountable for over half of the 4.4 million subscriptions lost in Spain alone in recent months…
The analysis firm asserted that 1.6 million users have left the home of series like Stranger Things overall…
The online streaming service had reported that it had added nine million new users, bringing its total number of subscribers to 247.15 million, during the most recent fiscal disclosure of data.
Ignoring the fact that 1.6m isn’t “over half” of 4.4m, the last paragraph says that they added 9m new users. Am I reading this wrong?
Well said. I’m not going to be a fairweather-ethical-decision-maker. Every time I make a right choice (and I decide what’s right for me) I’m rebelling against the machine of marketing and convenience. In fact, often the more inconvenient it is, the more confident I am in my decision.
I’ve been using Tidal for a couple years and I don’t miss Spotify ever. Same price, higher quality, and they don’t pollute my screen with endless recommendations.
Man, it’s so disappointing that this joke, or some variation of it, is the top comment on so many news threads. What do you think you’re contributing?
Is there any way to confirm this? Or are there examples of artists who made a significant amount of money from NFTs? I understand its potential benefit for artists, but I mostly remember already-rich corporations (e.g. UFC) using them as another way to extract money from consumers.
I donate frequently also. It pains me that people poke fun at Wikimedia or Jimmy Wales for their constant fundraising. It’s such a ubiquitous tool, it’s a miracle that it’s free.
This is so good. Congratulations.
