I bring my dog to work every day by working from home!
Smart ass answer, I know
Sprints aren’t for you, it’s for the higher ups to have a digestible view of what’s going on in the team by presenting work done over 2-3 weeks, calibrating budgets, etc.
As a dev, yeah, sprints feel restrictive and artificial as fuck lol
We translated the agile word soup to French here :(
I literally can’t see whitespace, it gives me headaches looking for it. With brackets, I can get bracket matching in my IDE.
Who asked? What’s a US anyway?
Garbage collection???

Holy shit mood, described to the tee.
An application I’ve never heard or seen before that needs to be upgraded, and it breaks, so you now need to understand what the hell this application does so you can fix it properly.
PLEASE DRINK A VERIFICATION CAN
Same, it usually ends up being an X-Y problem and I have to take a step back.
I’m actually sad about the Hitler stache, it was also the Chaplin stache.
User themes having poor contrast and inconsistencies is why I stick to stock themes, made by UX/UI designers who work directly with the developers.
Gotta keep you on your toes
Idk to me it screams “solve this puzzle and win a free wrench” /s
I like the creativity of it, and it does solve the problem in a way that’s user-safe. I thought of removing the knob because that’s what I do with my barbecue as I store items on the grill when not in use. Remove knobs, put on grill, close barbecue, cover.
That actually makes sense, thank you for the tidbit!
Still kind of an overkill solution, but at least it’s funny
Could be simply a way to make sure the button never moves again. I would have simply taken out the knob, personally.
Nah fuck the haters, the keyboard-only workflow may be technically more productive, just like a Dvorak is better than a QWERTY, but what matters is your output and your quality.
No, I believe it’s called a joke
It’s Hebrew for double colon apparently, it came from the Israeli Zend framework PHP was based on. Some dev thought it would be funny to add an error in a language other than English.
Agreed, I don’t come to Lemmy to be treated like a child.
