The person that created the first version of assembly was a woman I think!
Wow! 13GB! I did some heavy stuff on my computer with like a shit ton of Docker servers running together + deployment and I never reached 13GB!
Without disclosing private company information lol what are you doing ;)
I mean… there’s Steam Workshop, Steam Voice, all the post, interactions, communities, etc… all of this have to weight a lot on their budget.
Well I don’t know the internal details but looking at all the benefits and services provided to the developers and players this doesn’t seem unfair.
30% allowing to use: Steam servers, Steam Workshop, Steam Cloud, Steamworks, Steam API
All of this is free for the players and developers they got to find a way to pay for all of this.
It’s so robust I like it a lot :)
I don’t know the developer experience with React+Vite has been amazing for me!
Fast HMR, detailed stack traces, and typing support is so cool!
Really? That’s so cool thanks :)
Guys I can’t do front-end! There was a time I was getting kinda good but now there’s too much CSS tricks to learn.
I’m currently making an app for the fediverse and my back-end is amazing but I need help even beginning to make something decent for the front-end!
This is a streaming app, and just developed the chat widget which looks good in OBS, that’s a start.
But the player? Responsible layout? Aaaah it seems impossible.
Thanks for doing that! I should write a script to do it, but I’m feeling down this week. So I won’t do it sorry :(
Oooh thanks :) I was feeling kind of like a moron just for asking a question but you made it better thanks.
This problem is actually super complicated I dig dip into it and there’s a lot you can do actually to improve the download speed. I think it’s more a matter of people not accepting their ignorance and still trying to talk like their experts.
Feel like Reddit :(
Hey it’s not me just sharing the project
Thanks super helpful :) gonna try that for my experiments
Can you give a real answer instead of being pedantic about it? Jeez we’re not on Reddit fedora boy
I mean, the download speed you provide to the peers?
They’re snitching on us lol
Seed it! Share the love :)
Ahaha it’s funny because I initially read that as serious comment X)
Yeah exactly what I experienced. You just end up rewriting Rust constructs!
