That’s not going to go wrong at all.
That’s not going to go wrong at all.
Apple user here. I can assure you, Apple sucks just as bad as MS and Google.
Photomator is iOS only. Afaik, there aren’t that many great alternatives on Android. There is snapseed, but that’s google and if they’re looking to get off Google/Google photos, snapseed isn’t any better than just sticking with Lightroom.
I verified it and it is the genuine ublock origin
Sadly, refreshing doesn’t help me either. I’ve tried.
I used to get that, but now I don’t even get that few seconds.
Oh. I hadn’t thought of that. I’ll give that a try!
Also firefox + ublock, but for me, it literally makes YouTube unusable. As in videos just flat out will not play in any way. I just get an endlessly loading spinner for the video
The stupid. It hurts.
I hate to break it to you but we’re way past screwed already.
surprised pikachu
I noped out as soon as I read that line.
Jellyfin is great!
I’m not bashing your opinion, if you don’t mind it that’s cool.
I do mind it. I cancelled prime years ago already because two day shipping somehow was never two day, so I’ll never see one of these pause ads.
That being said, I mind the idea of it a lot because I often pause to see something on the screen. Be it a text message in a show or something else written/printed, the cinematography, the lighting, the outfits, etc…. Fuck if I ever want an ad thrown up blocking the actual content I want to inspect in more detail.
Privacy. That’s iPhone.
Unless the government says otherwise. Because really we don’t give a fuck about you or your privacy.
Sadly, Firefox + ublock is becoming unreliable. I routinely can’t play YouTube videos on my desktop computer with that setup (+ a vpn) because google just won’t serve them. I just get perpetual loading screens.
First, fuck Roku. This is exactly why my roku tv is not connected to the internet and never will be. My kodi box handles my entertainment needs.
It’s not specifically anti-ad, but the lemmy privacy community regularly discusses ad-blocking as it very much overlaps with privacy.
I know nothing about Qwant. I do have to say I’m kinda surprised to see Mozilla posting this. Being as the google search deal is Mozilla’s #1 revenue source.
I’m not mad that they’re bringing awareness to the ability to change the search engine, regardless of the merits of Qwant. Just a little surprised that their kinda openly thumbing their nose at Google.
Edit: spelling
Don’t worry. With SCOTUS overturning Chevron this won’t stick. /s (in case it’s not obvious)
