I am phenomenally excited about that. I hope it becomes a universal thing.
Mentally ill woman in her late 30s. Quit my jobs with DIDDs to go to work a retail job and go to school.
I’m here to help!

I am phenomenally excited about that. I hope it becomes a universal thing.
I would like to add to this conversation, “I’ve talked it over with myself and I’ve decided I’m going on strike,” is an extremely powerful thing to say.
…I didn’t promise my addition would be valuable.
I can’t really comment on the European experience though, so I said American, which I am, and which I am qualified to talk about.
Oh, also I have an exceedingly rare hereditary disease, so it feels like a certainty I’ll need it for myself someday.
I believe every American knows someone whose life is made substantially worse because of a lack of access to healthcare.
I want to set this up and learn to use it. I want to keep it and maintain it and wait. Because I’ll inevitably hear from someone that they can’t afford their life-saving medication.
The New Text Document makes this.

Mine has a setting where if a number calls you once, it blocks. If it calls you a second time, it goes through. And it works! I use it all the time.
I know a lot of people still have terrible fanfiction they wrote as teens on the internet somewhere, so the warning is very appropriate.
I was already pissed, I didn’t need the punch to have a laugh.
I think notspez did it, but they did it as performance art, and I enjoyed it.
Mine was DACHEATED.
The message from the Elmo account, the follow-up and the Sesame Street account linking mental health resources is some of the most wholesome stuff I’ve seen in a while.
It’s easy to get in your feelings, and it would’ve been easy for a social media “win” to play into the doom and gloom or to add to it. Or even to ignore it! But the people responsible for those decisions definitely count as some of Mister Rogers’ helpers. I’m grateful for that.
I take medication that would absolutely make me sick if I smoked or ingested weed. And I know this because I read the interactions list, rolled my eyes, tried it anyway, and surprise!
