Umm, correct me if this seems like a bad take…but is there a need for a new console generation considering the overlap of the xbone/ps4 with this gen? Only the Nintendo Switch is in dire need of a hardware upgrade, especially with handheld gaming computers like Steam Deck offering much needed competition.

Of course, I’m all about non invasive spy wear! If you get one, just remember to temper your expectations! It will get there….eventually <3

So Pine 64 has a PineTime watch that is pretty nifty if people want sans spying techwear. Very basic and very alpha/beta mode…but it gets better every so often! More people use it or know about it, the more development it gets!

A lot of it has to do with Texas having the Gulf of Mexico ports all along the coast. It’s a big reason petrochemical refining is so big in Texas. Another plus for Texas is it’s abundance of land they can either buy or imminent domain. Now don’t get me wrong I’m not a Texas supporter, but it’s just one of those location based decisions I’m sure.

Not to mention if your a business in Texas you usually only get slaps on the wrist when you poison the environment. Worker safety? Mostly dependent on company policy with the main focus just barely making OSHA compliance. If the fine is cheaper than compliance, a lot of companies just pay the fine if it happens.

I actually use funkwhale now for music. It’s really decent so far. A little buggy though, but it should iron out

The biggest barrier to consumer renewable energy is price (and it has gone down considerably already.) Big projects ensures more development, which can lead to even lower prices.

With the state of the US power grid, we need more big renewable projects everywhere. Better subsidies on home renewables to take stress off the grid. The sooner the better !

Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t university all about the human connection in addition to the knowledge? Why else would we spend our tax dollars as well as tuition. AI seems antithetical to the university/college environment.

Everyone should ask themselves what is their actual threat model. That will tell you whether not this news truly affects you. Any criminal worth their salt probably wouldn’t roll with Proton or Tuta if they practice good OpSec
