The English word ‘speaker’ has multiple meanings. In Hungarian, there is a different word for a speaker device that casts sound (hangszóró, “sound caster”) and Speaker of the House of Parliament (házelnök, “president of the house”).

Still, when googling one, you may get results for the other. 🤷

Forget the cost of travel, if my commute is one hour, that’s two per day, ten per week, that’s an EXTRA WEEK they demand that I donate of my time to the company each month.

I don’t think it’s the wearing of nappies that is worthy of ridicule. You are right, it’s a medical question, people who need it should wear it, and everybody else should just stfu about it. (Except perhaps in the odd case when medical conditions do come into question while assessing the fitness of a candidate to an office, especially such a high stakes and demanding one as the potus, but that’s by the by).

What is chilling is the followers of Trump who try to make a virtue out of it. And ridiculous. Laughing at them is the right response because the other option is utter despair.

If you ever feel useless just remember somebody designed and implemented the share-to-facebook feature on porn sites.

I’ve been cycling through them a few months at a time. When it gets harder and harder to find something interesting on, say, Netflix, I cancel and sign up for, say, HBO, then a few months later Disney+, rinse and repeat.

I refuse to pay for more than one at a time because I’m not watching more than one at a time. And when I go back to any of them after many months away, there will be new programmes in their catalogue.
