Never seen a clearer example of someone not being objective.

He claims he voted libertarian in the last election but I feel pretty confident that won’t happen next year.
On the Dec. 21 episode of “The Joe Rogan Experience,” which has been the No. 1 podcast on Spotify for the past three years
It should be noted that Rogan has an exclusive deal with Spotify so Spotify is the only place you can listen to Rogan, which is probably largely responsible for his #1 spot on the platform.
I believe that deal ends later this week. I haven’t seen anything to indicate it will be renewed.
There are several "new YouTube"s. The problem is getting people to transition to them. And this is intended to do exactly that.
That’s the exact opposite of what most people want from an app like this.
I see a lot of people saying “but that’s how creators get paid”
And they’re not wrong. But they put themselves in this position when they uploaded their videos to servers owned by one of the worst corporations in the world, with massive privacy implications, and no alternatives.
I watch them on other platforms when they make it available.
When T9 was all we had, we got real good at it.
No software updates mean they have to get it right the first time, which they always seemed to manage.
I’ve come to the realization that the phone I want is a Nokia 3310 “brick”.

Samsung and Google both support devices for 5 years now. Doesn’t matter how long Apple “supports” the software because they don’t support the hardware.
Why not both?
I think in reality the Chrome web browser is a huge threat to Internet freedom and should be a top priority.
No man, you’re just supposed to say “Sup.” back to them and then repeat ad nauseum.
They won’t. The vast majority aren’t using any kind of ad-blockers in the first place or Google would go out of business.
You have to blame YouTube and the people who click those garbage thumbnails
I mean yes but also it’s not that hard. Google is not trying to give you a great experience, they’re trying to drive clicks to ads.
Imagine being so entitled that you think you have a right to others’ work for free.
Imagine spending years writing a book for the benefit of others, only to have it downloaded, stripped of it’s licensing and given away to others for free and being robbed of compensation for the time you invested.
Good, they suck at it anyway. And podcasts are one of those rare things in this day and age that is federated, truly “open” and also mainstream so fuck them for trying to ruin that.
