I don’t think people need to enshrine anonymity absolutely to post crap daily for millions of followers. You could have an accreddited human poster who proves not only humanity, but also agrees to a few rules to maintain this credential. And then you could still have non-accredited posters who nobody vouched for, but everyone should instantly doubt and dismiss their big claims as shitposting.
This would also have to be state-provided, because states and citizens are the ones who lose the most with infowarfare, corporations don’t care.
I saw one rumor where they uploaded a gibberish file for some reason. In another, there was a Windows update that shipped just before they uploaded their well-tested update. The first is easy to avoid with a checksum. The second…I’m not sure…maybe only allow the installation if the windows update versions match (checksum again) :D

this is a mere business update about a tech company…nothing about tech that any other company couldn’t do.This exact same thing could have happened 100 years ago with some airline magnate who decided to move headquarters for some legal/accounting/marketing reason :D
Tech is about new products, principles, ideas, innovation, patents, methods, engineering, achievements, drawbacks, etc.
All media gave him free uncritical publicity for decades. They inflated his ego, branded him as a genius and built him a legion of fanatics. Now the media see the monster they created, but it is too late to undo :/

I don’t get it, are they implying that each GPU can draw 200kW? a home is like 10 max. Wtf is a gpu that can consume more power than 20 homes? Mine at home draws peak 300W…
Each of those GPUs feature over 10,752 cores, 48 GB of memory and have a 300 W TDP, for a grand total of 1,612,800 cores, 7,200 GB of GDDR6 memory, and a potential maximum power draw of 45,000 W at full tilt (via Wccftech).

When you throw in Israel-hamas in the conversation, you muddy the waters by comparing it with a 76-year-old war with brutality and a lot of bad decisions on both sides that has turned the leadership on one side into morally-bankrupt fanatics and the leadership on the other side into genocidal fascists.
Israel has neighbours telling them they should disappear every day and those neighbours will not settle for anything less, even after palestinian statehood on the table multiple times, how do you resist that?
On the other hand, nobody wants to make russia disappear, yet russia acts as desperate to destroy Ukraine, a sovereign nation as if they had been the ones invaded. It is much more despicable than hamas and israel.
But why do you need to go fetch Israel as the ultimate measure that you need to understand the egregiousness of what russia is doing to Ukraine…when what russia is doing to Ukraine is both the crimes of Israel and hamas combined:
the crime of Israel’s brutality without regard for human life
and
the crime of hamas’s terroristic persistent attempt to destroy their neighbour at the expense of its own people
…there is no comparison here.
