I didn’t even know that was a thing…

Don’t give them excuses, mate.
Map them during initial setup.
Please choose a service you would like to use and we will help you log in.
You have x buttons that are available to use as a shortcut to the service. Please press the button you would like to use, or press enter to skip this step.
Also the heavy vibration that can occur when a train passes over
Holding the power button for 1 second also opens the menu.
I’d just go for a “feature” that disables the on/off function (leaving the momentary function alone) of the hi-beam when a sensor/s detects light above a certain luminosity. I also think an extra cost to the registration could be tacked on for vehicles that are lifted or otherwise have headlights above a certain height that would scale with the said height.
I know from working in manufacturing, at least, that people like to abuse excel and try to use it as a DB client
Why can’t they just fix the simple bug of having to open the app ,close it down, then reopen it just to connect to your setup? A simple ‘wait’ line of code would do wonders.
Wasn’t that before they switched to LGA though?
With gmaps constantly suggesting off-ramp->on-ramp detours at over/underpasses to help you shorten your eta by 1 minute increase merging traffic, I doubt they would have any ethical hesitancy behind it.
Honestly, I imagine they may already have a deal (possibly under the table) with clearchannel and the likes.
They are around… Try this one: (https://www.starbirdchicken.com/starbird-chicken-menu)
I was curious of what their menu looked like as I have one by my work. Haven’t checked it on desktop, but on Android, the menu items never get loaded. ($10-12 for an á la carte chicken sandwich from a fast casual place is a ripoff anyway)
Edit: It looks like it’s the mobile site/formatting that is broken. Using desktop mode lets the menu items come onto screen. (Firefox 126.01 on a pixel8pro with Android 14) The same issue seems to also be present with chrome under my work account.
I still argue that they are present, as I had to with it doing taxes a couple months ago. (Just not going to give those sites away)
The one benefit of open source of having more eyes on the code to find any bugs would likely be its weakness, given that systems like these aren’t updated frequently, any bugs found and made public could open the door to exploiting,
Even with multiple savings accounts, IRA/401ks, an investment account, and two W2s; it’s still relatively straightforward. You just need to grab the forms, as they are legally supposed to be provided to you.
More and more they are starting to look like someone just vacuum molded the body over a chassis rather than putting any sort of real artistry to it. It also makes me wonder if Ellen is saying the look is “sexy,” does he have some sort of spandex fetish. Maybe he stole his mum’s pantyhose when alone and strutted around the house wearing them, thinking of himself as such. Maybe he still does…
One of her more recent and popular roles is Black Widow in the Marvel/Avengers movies. The one with red hair, dresses in an all black leather biker suit like an assassin, and acts as the sort of voice of reason to help keep the heroes grounded. (like being able to calm down the hulk when he’s having one of his fits)
Another role was as the title character in Lucy. The movie where she was conned/forced to be a drug mule and inadvertently got dosed with what she was carrying. This sort of supercharged her mind to superhuman levels, and turned her into a perfect assassin to be able to seek revenge on everyone who did her wrong.
The quality is much better than you think. Most people also don’t have the acute hearing of audio technologist to determine if a song is 192kbps or FLAC without hearing them back-to-back repeatedly or would care much. It’s also why terrestrial radio is still a thing. People tend to either want full control of their library or just want something to listen to all without having to deal with an unfriendly interface.
Or adapters to plug a 30A device into a 15A receptacle
It was more an honest question with an attempt to explain the reasoning behind the preconception and implying an expectation of answers supporting what I’ve heard.
My OCD tends to bleed over into my writing style. I’ve just had to grow to accept it.
Given the responses from multiple people, I’ll add it to my list. I just didn’t know it story was more thoughtful than I’ve heard.
Acceptance and popularizing of previously stigmatized groups of people and cultures who underwent many social injustices, such as people of a different race, neurodivergants, or LGBTQ to name a few.
A few years ago media really started to shoehorn the culture into script writing to the point a show or movie, rather than just telling a story, made it a platform for culture. While I appreciated that these groups were gaining acceptance, I felt it could too much too soon, and the more closed-minded people would just close off even more.
You work in their marketing department, don’t you?
The scenario I mentioned would have the buttons simply labeled with a number/letter. 95% of the time I don’t even look on the remote to use a button. Also, if you hit the wrong button, no big deal, you just the other/s.
Like I mentioned, stop giving them excuses.
