Mozilla says Apple’s new browser rules are “as painful as possible” for Firefox::Mozilla has responded to Apple’s App Store changes in the EU, which will finally allow other browsers, like Firefox, to run on their own engines.
Would mozzilla be able to just cave, and stay on WebKit to make their lives easier? Until Apple concedes to allowing non WebKit in the US
Mozilla has been building gecko for decades, why would they cave to a conglomerate and invalidate their principles?
I’m Tim Apple and I think that’s a great question. Why don’t they just do that?
Oh man that’s hilarious. 😋 I read it in the voice of the guy from SAMTIME: https://www.youtube.com/@SAMTIME Who calls himself Sam from Apple when he makes fun of Apple.
Here is an alternative Piped link(s):

It’s not even that. This new browser engine rule only applies to iOS, not iPadOS. I mean Apple is really being complete assholes with the EU.
