    A few thousand years ago the ancient Greeks said:

    “δὶς ἐξαμαρτεῖν οὐκ ἀνδρὸς σοφοῦ”.

    Roughly meaning: A wise person doesn’t make the same mistake twise.

    But again some people keep doing it

      I think you’re understanding it the wrong way. It does say “A wise person”
